Apple cider vinegar
 
What up peoples. you know I had to come back with a nother question to bug everybody about. has anyone had any experiences with apple cider vinegar. is it really good for you? i have been doing research on it and from online it says that it is really good for you, and of course there is an occasinaly person or 2 who bashes it. but from reading, it says it does a lot for you. has anybody had any experiences with it?????? fyi it is one of the most disgusting things to ever taste.

It is very good for you and I have heard that it can aid in fat loss and immune system functions. I've never heard anything bad about it.
As for the taste, I like it. I put it on salads with some extra virgin olive oil and it tastes fine. Do you drink it strait, cause that is a little hardcore. :biglaugh:

yeah most of the time its straight. if not straight just mixed in water. it tastes horrible. i only take like 2 or 3 spoons in the morning and night. the only thing i heard that makes it not good is that the acids can make the enamel on your teeth go bad. so they say if you use some take it immeditly instead of sipping on it during the course of the day. i just usually take it straight then go brush my teeth.

if it takes away from the enamel I wouldn't brush your teeth right away. You could be brushing your teeth away because of the lack of enamel that is usually there to protect your teeth. I've heard the same thing about coffee. I would instead get a mouth wash that has an enamel "builder" and use that after drinking the Apple cider vinegar. Then go about your regular dental routine.

your not buggin us man, this is what we are here for.

I've heard many of the same things about Apple Cider Vinegar, if you can stand the taste keep it going man, or maybe find something to mask the taste.

on a side note what does "roof a feather" mean?

you know the saying roof a football. you throw the football to hard by mistake and it gets caught on someones roof.................... im talking about taking a feather and throwing it on top of a roof. that would be PHENOMENAL strength. i know that wont be able to happen but hey its nice dreaming :biglaugh:. so instead ill just take a 25 to 30 pound weight lose and being able to bench 315 at least 25 to 30 times and ill be ok :weights:

and it does taste horrible. to mask it every once in a blue i put it in water, but i am an idiot so i do it straight.

I gotcha, that makes sense now.

I havent had apple cidar vinegar myself, but i do shots of alcar in water every morning, cant be much worse then that.

I've never tried ACV, but FWIW, I've never found any real studies that prove it to have much of an impact on fat loss. It's primary benefits are in aiding digestion, which is why most people direct it to be taken about 30 mintes prior to a meal.

If the type of ACV you're using is the good kind and actually made with apples (some acctually don't contain any, they're artificially flavored), then there's some debate about it aiding in fat loss. The pectin in apples is a mild appetite suppressant. Therefore, taking it prior to a meal would curb hunger slightly, possibly resulting in eating less at that meal.

IMO, for fat loss, it's not gonna do much.
