| I'm just doing maintenance for now until my inner elbow tendonitis fully heals. I typically have a cup of greek yogurt with granola and honey and a glass of milk. Sometimes on my workout days I like to make a breakfast sandwich with croissant, 2 eggs and 3 strips of bacon for the sheer delicious factor. A hour or two later I'll have 2 scoops of a whey protein mix (Dymatize Elite Gourmet is my fave!). |

| I have made pancakes with whey protein powder. I found that it dried the pancakes out way too much. Maybe a different kind of protein would work better. However, if you want to add protein to your breakfast, why not just drink a protein drink with your pancakes. If you also put eggs in your pancake mix, you will get a pretty good blast of protein for breakfast. Then you could add some fruit and have a great breakfast, which would also include important complex carbohydrates! BTW, make sure you buy whole wheat pancake mix and not that common white flour crap you see in the supermarkets. If the pancake mix also has corn flour in it, you will get a little extra protein because whole wheat flour mixed with corn flour provides complete protein. I hope this helps. |
