Do you have high cholesterol?

i believe there are a few studies out there that show the cholesterol in eggs does not affect your bodies cholesterol.

no, but it runs in the family

There isn't much (if any) cholesterol in the white. The majority of the nutritional value of an egg is found in its yolk. I eat the yolks along with the whites.

x2 on what Pity said.

Sorry to sidetrack but I have always been meaning to ask. How does being on TCD or Keto type diets affect your cholestoral?

There is actually a new study that came out in England, I'll try and track down the paper. It goes with what you said. And, if I remember right, helps lower the bad cholesterol.

Didn't read it, saw it on TV.

I didnt find any papers, or do major research. It was led by Dr. Bruce Griffin from U of Surrey in the UK

I did a quick search and found this:

http://www.treelight.com/health/heal...olesterol.html

It seems to contain a lot of the stuff I have read from several different sources. Always good to do additional research though before relying on single sources.
