How many meals should i eat a day to = my targets (fat,carbs,cals)... And could i get a lil help with some foods you guys ate while on your ckd diet so i can get an idea of what sort of stuff i should buy.

Dr X 05-25-2005 08:35 PM

Hamburger, eggs, cheese, tuna in oil, flax oil, heavy cream, chicken, bacon, steak, salmon, oysters, brautwurst, watch out for nitrates, you can eat green leafy vegetables, salad with the real dressing, I like cesar. You want to take fiber, drink lots of water. Take vitamins. Avocado is good too.
This will cover 6 days. On carb day oatmeal, pancakes, potatoes, lentals, pasta, basically anything goes but you can't have fat that day. I would recommend 6 meals broken up over the day. I can't think of everything right now. You will have to plan out your meals but after a week you will have it down. You can basically do it in your head.

Taurus,

Below is a quote from you in another thread (regarding creatine--it was my thread called "Trac--your thoughts").

Do you have any evidence to back up your meal theory?

all i have to say on this is different things work for different people its just like suplements if something works for taurus its not nessarly going to work for everyone else, if that method has worked for him in the past then dont make fun of him for it were all freinds here or at least i hope :)

Is that the same book that said that people drinking milk was unnatural because humans are the only species that, not only drink milk after infancy, but are the only ones that drink milk from other species?

BG5150 05-31-2005 06:07 PM

However, I do agree with the theory of not mixing carbs & protein because of the digestive processes. Believe it or not, Suzanne Sommers made a killing infomercializing and selling just such a diet.

What I really didn't like about "Fit for Life" was that it was totally against any kind of dairy. (At least from what I remember--I think I looked thru it about 15 yrs ago)
