Favorite Hot Sauces? What are some of your top picks?
 

I've been eating clean, (for the first time in my life) for about 4 months now... and I feel great.

I love spicy food... so to kick up the flavor on my clean eating... I use hot sauce on everything. My favorite thus far would be any of the Cholula varieties.

There are thousands of brands out there... so I was wondering what everybody's favorite picks are...

Dave's Super Insanity Sauce, but only in very small portions!

I like Tabasco but Louisianna Hot Sause tastes almost as good and is a lot cheaper. However, theses type of sauces are not nearly as hot as I really like 'em.

I prefer my own Habanero sauce that I make with habaneros from my own garden. Recipe is basically half habaneros and half carrots. Nice orange color and very, very hot.

I have a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce but it is more a novelty. Much too hot to actually be good. I put one drop in a gallon of chili and the chili becomes "four alarm" instantly. I am not really exaggerating either.

I have a jalapeno sauce called "Butt Burner" that is ok. Name does not fit though. I think Tabasco may be hotter.

One spicy food I like that rest of family members won't even try is pickled okra. I buy the hot one and it is pretty good. Really good with a cold beer.
