How do I set up a ratio based eating plan?
I'm trying to set up a plan with a carb/protein/fat with about 2300 calorie eating plan. Right now I'm just dividing everythin by every meal, but it's hard to actually make a meal fit into those categories and still come up with the calories I need. For instance I need 590 caloreis for breakfast with a 80/36/12 ratio. What can I actually fit into somethin like that? This is my first time actually countin everything so please help

read labels...weigh your food...and at the end of the day be pretty close to your ratios. not real sure how 80/36/12 works out...as that's 128...not 100.

Lol, I was looking at the wrong thing. It's 55/25/20. So basically you try to just get close as you can? I'm basically wondering do you try to keep each meal at that ratio, or just your overall calories at that ratio. Because seems like my breakfast has no fat versus my dinner choices could possibly have more.

as long as at the end of the day you're close to that ratio, that's great. but you don't have to match every meal to that ratio.

So are there any guidelines on how to portion your ratios throuhiut the day? For example you should consume so many calories from carbs/protein/fat for breakfast and so on?
|
if your trying to lean out...most diets taper carbs from morning to night.
|
eat the biggest part of your carbs for breakfast and earlier on the day. donĀ“t eat carbs within 3-5 hours before going to bed. on the evening base more on protein, fat and veggies
