I've been lifting on and off since I was 28.
I think for me that machines, with a couple of exceptions, just don't get it done.
I stick to the compound movements and go hard. My "deconditioning" is usually a week off.
I try to encourage anyone, regardless of age, to get into resistance training and cardio. The combination has served me well through the years.
Weight and age are both just numbers. Heavy or getting older shouldn't hold anyone back!

Great work man. I hope you are able to continue lifting for many years to come! You have impressive lifts as well!
You squat more then I do and I dont' even have bone spurs to complain about! haha
