Milk vs Soy
I ran across this article today, it basically says that milk is better than soy in terms of building muscle mass. I couldn't find the actual journal article for it though. This article doesn't mean anything to me since I don't drink soy milk and wasn't planning on starting, but I know soy has poked its head a couple times in other threads...so enjoy!
Here's the link to the site where I got the article in case anyone wants to see the source: http://dailynews.mcmaster.ca/story.cfm?id=4626

That's the first thing I thought of, who funded it? What other possible point could there be to a study of this nature? Who else would care? Doesn't mean the results are skewed but it does establish the economic agenda behind it.
I think it's pretty clear that for overall health, soy is much better than milk which is the issue that the NDC is trying to circumvent. I don't see the wisdom in bodybuilders who don't drink milk already to start because of this.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that if not the NDC directly than the dairy industry in general is heavily supported by our tax dollars. Nice to know they're being so well spent..
