Default Protein shakes on off days?

Does anybody take protein shakes on their days off ,if so how many ? i stop taking them on my off days and seem to get leaner what do you think good or bad or should you have a shake or two everyday!

I have one like a snack. If it works for you, then do it. But, the body is rebuilding on off days, so the extra protein would be really helpful. Do you get enough protein from non-shake sources ('real food')?

Im eating about four to five meals a day consistent and two or three shakes on workout days ,i was doing shakes everyday and getting good bulk but trying to be more cut

If you can meet your protein requirements without a shake, then I think that's best. It doesn't really matter so long as it's only a shake or two with < 30g of protein.

the only thing i use on off days is one scoop in the breakfast shake.

Get as much as you can from good quality food sources. Sometimes, however, a shake is just quick and easy and there is nothing wrong with that.

I'll throw in a shake on a "off day", just to rebuild if I havnt ate enough Food-protein that day.

Absolutely!!! You should have protein shakes everyday! Whey in the morning is important to feed those hungry muscles fast after a long 8 hours of fasting and through the day in between your whole food meals you should down protein shakes to keep your protein intake high high high! 1.5 grams per pound of body weight or even a little more on training days!
