What is the Role of Healthy Diet Plan in Muscle Building?
In case of bodybuilding and athletics, a lot of hard work is required. Your body requires high levels of energy and stamina to do intense workouts at gym.
To provide energy and vital nutrients to your body, no doubt, a healthy diet is an ideal option. There are many people who believe following a healthy diet keeps the body healthy and fit.
This is true but when it comes to attain high levels of energy and stamina, a typical diet fails to do the job.
This is because a healthy diet does not directly provide a boost of energy.
so what do you think, either to take a natural diet or purchase any supplement for it?
Diet > Supplements
Without good nutrition just hang it up. Nutrition is the cornerstone. Supplements are for supplementation.
As with anything, there are differences in opinion. Diet and supplimentation are no different. However, even a healthy diet not only falls short, but falls far short of the required nutrients and protein required to build the muscle all of us are searching for. Sure, a healthy diet will take you a long way. But at some point supplementation is a must to take you to the next level. Early on, most of us can get by and make good gains just eating right. But as your body grows it requires more of a good thing to keep growing, and feeding it is a must! In addition to nutrition and a fundamentally sound training program proper rest can not be over stressed.
Look at the guy you see in the gym year after year who never seems to change. You know the guy. His routine appears to be solid and he's doing what it takes in the gym to grow. But you can almost bet that outside of the gym his diet is lacking in the things it needs to continue that growth.
I'll tell you a funny story about a guy I knew in the military years ago. Actually, it's kinda sad. Of course this person is not typical of someone who takes care of himself and follows a healthy diet, but it shows how bad some peoples diets are, how misguided people can be, and sadly, this guy always wondered why he didn't see any results from his efforts. But he also was not the type of person who would take anyones advice. Anyway,... Every night this guy would come into the lounge in the barracks with a bag of nacho chips, a couple of sodas and maybe a few candy bars. Along with this bag of junk food he always had the latest issue of Muscle & Fitness. He would watch tv, read his magazine and stuff his face full of this garbage. And his body showed all the benefits of this horrible diet. Every day after work he would hit the gym for an hour, walk on the treadmill and wander around the free weights aimlessly, with no idea of which weight he was going to pick up next. Now far be it from me to question anyones sexuality, and I could honestly care less. I'm of the belief that it is your life so do with it as you see fit. But he definately wasn't reading that magazine for the information in those articles. Suffice it to say, in the four years I was stationed on that base he kept up these useless habits until he was discharged. And not surprisingly, his body didn't look any different the day he left.
