Gender: | Before I tested my max 1 year ago and it was about 405. Next I'm finding my deadlift max. This I don't know at all. I've only done 225 for sets of 10 without straps so I don’t know what my potential even comes close to. More to come. |

Gender: | thanks, guys. maxes are not really my thing, My room-mate does Westside lifting and he was doing max effort squat last night so I figured I'd jump in to see where I am to start a 5x5 this Jan. Also I will be doing a journal. so more lifts to come. |

Gender: | Be careful finding your max... I managed to reinjure an old back tear (with nerve nexus complication) about 2 weeks ago. Just beginning to get back into workouts again. You can bet your sweet ass I'll be a lot more careful about forum when I test my limits next time. Not worth it...better to work your way up, as suggested, in 5 x 5s and calculate your max. Back to scratch (much lower resistance mass) on my deads. Hopefully my squat performance isn't too badly affected...we'll see. |
