I like Beyond Brawn's 200/300/400 for a good base. 300/400/500 and you've accomplished something. That's a good basic and generalized goal that is very attainable for just about anyone. Of course sometimes people are stronger benchers or better squatters, but it's a good barameter regardless.

I've never cared about what my squat/dead/bench is compared to each other. It doesnt make sense to, its a waste of time. Push your numbers up on all three, where they land is where they land. Unless of course your taining for PL comp, in which case I completely understand.

Everyone is different, before the shoulder injury I could press 315 for multiple sets, and think nothing of it. but if i did one set of 315 on squat, I could barely walk the next day. But both my squat and my bench were progressing ... and thats all that really matters.

Your stat's are good.

But in no way should your squat and bench have only 35 lbs. seperating them. With a bench press of 250, and a weight of 162. That's pretty fantastic, but your squat as of now needs to be in the 300's. Atleast.

The rest of your lifts are pretty impressive.

They have probably improved some during the 7 months since he posted this question.

I'd say you're doing great, better than a lot of people ever get in their lives! No joke. I'd say that you could do a smidgen better in the legs dept., but 285 @ your weight is def. respectable, man! Keep it up, and eat big! Oh, and don't care about what other people say/think. Let 'em, they're probably jealous!
