| Moderator Rank: Light Heavyweight Experience: 7-10 Years | That's about it! If you start relying on the belt for anything else or where it all the time, you'll look like you belong in the 1980's. For me, I ONLY use a belt on my final 1-2 sets of squatting or deadlifts over 400 lbs. Anything under is a no-no for me. |
