this is my first year in fantasy football. bu i am a football junkie in general so i look at every little thing.

from your decsision on fred taylor or plaxico buress ross. it all depends. you have to play to your league. first you have to see who is capable of giving you the most points. after that look at the defenses. the titans have a great defense and the whole D-line (which is its strong point of the D) is healthy. also fred taylor will split time with maurice jones drew so that is touches taken away from taylor.

shaun springs might play for the skins tomorrow but he wil lbe injured if he plays. carlos rogers may not be 100 percent either. so all in all you lookin at the skins having 1 corner who isnt sure abotu an injury from last year and one who is just got injured. so i think you might be better with plax, bu its your call.

i dont want to tell you anything wrong and you wind up losing lol

Does any of that seem crazy to you? There are seven teams in my league. The dude I'm playing in the first week has a star studded lineup...more so than mine. Feel free to critique/criticize.

lol from the line up you have starting you look like you have an all star line up as well. your line up has more stars than mine, but the thing is with me im to much into football an di look at every aspect of everything which could be a bad thing. here is my starting line up

RB Brandon Jacobs- Redskins D looks a little banged up and this is their first year with their D-coordinator. plus steven jackson plays the eagles. their D was 7th in rushin last year and they got better so i like my chances with B.jacobs for just this week

WR Calvin Johnson- i think he wil lbe the shit this year. plus the falcons D is trash
WR Nate Burleson- all their other wideouts are hurt. so he has to be the 1 and i think he stil lmay be a kick returner to which can give me extra points
TE Benjamin Watson- pats play the chieifs. enough said
OP Jon Kitna- he will light the falcons up
DP John Beason- playing the chargers, they will run the ball alot
D/ST Steelers D/ST- they wil lget after the texans
K Rob Bironas- titans wont score touchdowns on the jags so they will be taking what they get

Yeah, me too. 7 of his players are listed as questionable or probable. He has Chad Johnson & TO & Tom Brady, etc... But I think that my guys will put up good numbers. ESPN has an analysis thing and it puts him ahead on all of the players except for two. I think I will dominate based on strength of schedule. I'm very excited about the Pit/Hou game. I'm hoping I rack up big there.

i hope you are playing plaxico buress like i said ross. he is busting the redskins ass. i knwo i started brandon jacobs :) i wihs they would stop taking him out though and i wish they would score a damn touchdown :)

Haha yes sir, yes sir. He pulled 13 points for me. He was projected to pull 14, but that's a solid performance. I wish he would have had a touchdown reception. I'm super excited about this weekend. It's a good start so far. That was a boring game tonight...I hate to see a team come out there and look that unprepared. Hopefully Washington can pull it together and make a run. Jacobs had an awesome performance...he won't get as much credit on the fantasy scoreboard as he deserves though.

i was mad as hell when they didnt give him the ball on the goal line. he had a good game but didnt score any touchdowns so i only got 6 points. oh well. i can care less what both of these teams do. i hate both of them :)

Haha. I won my first game also. Right now it's 77-39 (H2H points). Darren McFadden will play for him tonight & I have Adrian Peterson playing tonight, then it will be final. But I already got it on lock. It's been a blast so far. I was out of town this weekend, so I was pretty worried until I got to check it last night.

oh well you rbeating his ass then. i just edged my game out 93.5 to like 85.5. the thing is not one o fmy running backs scored a touchdown this week and i was still able to win. dont know if i can do that again so they better stop bullshittin. i wish i had some beter tight ends though

Looks like I finished up 94 to 39 + whatever points McFadden pulls for the other guy tonight. I love fantasy football. Laveranues Coles & Torry Holt didn't pull any points for me....needless to say they're riding the pine next weekend. I shouldn't have switched Laveranues Coles for Anquan Boldin right before that game; otherwise I would have pulled +100 points. I'm excited about next weekend already.

i am to. the only thing that made me kind of mad is that nate burelson is out for the year now. he def would have been a sleeper for me. he gets 5 catches and a touchdown half way through the game then he goes down for the season. and their no wide receivers worth getting now. so im droppimngm him and picking up the kid eddie royal. he most likley wuill never start for me bu i need 5 wideouts

whats your squad looking like this week ross? im pissed LT has an injury. he said he will play but i dont know how good he will be. and im caught up between steven jackson and brandon jocobs this week again. and if i were you i would not play fred taylor this week. im def starting the bills D against them

My WR/RB slot is still open...I haven't locked anything in yet. I have Ted Ginn Jr, Torry Holt, Joey Galloway, Laveraneus Coles, Anthony Gonzalez, Isaac Bruce, Chester Taylor, and Fred Taylor to choose from. None of them did anything impressive in Week 1. I'm thinking about starting Joey Galloway in that slot since he'll be playing catch with his old buddy Brian Griese. I'm just afraid they might run a lot or something. None of the guys I mentioned did anything during Week 1 though, so I don't know.. I probably won't play Fred Taylor for another week or two...until I see how he and MJD are sharing carries. Next week is a bye for me, which is great. I'm worried about this week because the guy I'm playing against had a bye during the first week.

i would start joey galloway or laverneaus coles. dont think anybody else you have woul dhave a better day because they dont start. they have the potential to do better but i doubt it. the only one that can do better IMO is torry holt, but the rams look Horrible.

Sounds like a plan. I was really between Ted Ginn Jr & Joey Galloway. All of those big names and nothing to show... Now I'm wondering whether I should start Big Ben or Eli in the QB slot. Ben is semi injured, so if they pull ahead then the back up might come in. But maybe not. They're playing the Browns, so they have the potential to put up some good numbers. The Giants are playing the Rams though. What are your thoughts there?

I'm excited to see Carolina & Chicago. Should be the best game of the weekend.

im so stuck on who i want to play at running back. i have deangelo williams on the bench but they play the bears. im just gonna be pissed if LT doesnt do shit for me again this week and i dont wnat to make a bad choice between B.jacobs and steven jackson

Yeah, you really can't play Deangelo Williams. I think he's awesome, but Carolina has a history of under performing...especially the running game, and especially against good defenses. He won't have a great game unless they can really spread the defense and throw the ball. They normally do that with mediocre teams, but hey...they looked good last weekend.

yeah. im just gonna chalk it and start brandon jacobs and LT. even if steven jackson has more touches i think b. jacobs can score more touchdowns this game at least. my line up is

I'll update this post after the game Monday. I'm winning 95-69 right now...looks like I might have this one on lock.

so far i have 112.5 points to his 45 so i think im in good shape :) he still has some pllayers left to play though. mcnabb, romo, marioon barber, and desheaun jackson. thats quite a few olayers but they woul dhave to score a shit load of touchdowns and yards to catch me and if romo and mcnabb throw 3 touchdowns a pecie and 300 yards i would still be up by like 15. so i think im good.

and once again not a single one of my running backs scored a touchdown. luckily im making great picks everywhere else or i woul dbe up shits creek without a paddle. why the fuck does LT have to stink when im playing him. hopefully he will come on for me later in the season. i dont know homw many games i can win without my running backs not scoring a single touchdown

i wish i was a computer wiz. but i actually think me not knowing to much is a good thing. ill do all kinds of bad stuff :). i just know enough to get by

ESPN is weird. I noticed some scoring discrepancies yesterday...like it gave me 2pts for the Bears' blocked punt/TD near the beginning of the game when it should have given me 6. I noticed my opponent's score randomly jumped 6 points at one point yesterday when no one was playing. I think they were just fixing errors. When I woke up this morning & checked, the Bears defense score had been adjusted correctly. So I'm ahead 123-91. He has McNabb playing tonight & I have Dallas' kicker playing. It's a 32 point spread, so I'm hoping my kicker does well and McNabb...well, I hope he has a great game. It shouldn't matter if I get a few points from my kicker. At 123 points, I already have the league's highest score of the season in a single game. I'm pulling for the Eagles tonight.

Thanks for the tip about Eli. If I win this week, that will probably be the reason why. Anthony Gonzalez won a starting position for next week on a side note.

no problem, just be sure to not play names but play matchups. i have the second highest total scores for each week without any running back support at all. the highest total so far is 164 and he still has brian westbrook to play tonight. im lucky i beat that guy last week though

Today or tomorrow I'm going to start trying to make some trades and picking up a few people. I looked at the schedule for the rest of the season and because of byes, I will have a few holes at bad times.

yeah i dont know if i should make any trades. the thing is my running backs aint doing shit but its only a matter of time before they do. LT didnt do shit at the beginning of last season either then wound up getting 15 touchdowns. so im gonna stick it out im just gonna have to really stratergize who i play

i hate the fuckin cowboys and all their fans, and i just lost my fantasy game by a touchdown because of them. i am so fuckin pissed!!!! i swear if anyone says anything to me about this game tomorrow i will beat the living shit out of them and i dont care about getting fired

Pittman has been getting most of the goal line carries for the Broncos. They're playing the Saints, who apparently have 26th ranked rush defense in the league.

Next week I'll be missing Plaxico & Eli. Ben & Willie will be playing the Ravens. I picked up Delhomme for next week because Steve Smith is back now, so he can make Jake look good again. Dwayne Bowe is getting a lot of opportunities....he should pull a solid 10pts or so. Vincent Jackson will be playing against the Raiders...enough said. Not sure whether I'll play him or not though. I'm playing the #1 guy in the league next week, so I'm a little worried.
