what up. i was reading hrdgains journal and i seen a quick convo abou trap. so to those who actually do like rap i just made this thread so we can share some of our favorite lyrics. it aint the same as listening to it but when you like rap you can read lyrics and know how good it is. so lets post and share some ill lyrics that when we first heard them it made us look like we were smelling a babies diaper lol.

im sure some of yall who listened to rap remember the dude canibus. him as an artist wasnt to great but he used to kill mixtapes and freestyles.

the thing i really really dislike about pretty much most rap is...

it's so self centered...every line contains "i" or "me"....i'm the best...i got the most money...blah blah blah.



i'm a much bigger fan of abstract shit...with no focus on self.

most people think metal bands can't come up with anything cool but death, murder and gore...but a lot of progressive death bands come up with some cool shit...

word. i def know that some people from rock bands can rap. if people took the time out to listen to it for a second they can see that they all just dont scream. just off of a quick listen i have heard someone from rockband flow

See thats what I like about it, maybe because I'm so self centered. I dont care about the money, or the bling or any of that crap, but if your a rapper, its just you out there, spitin ... kinda like martial arts, its one on one ya know.
