First Item on EBay - Bodybuilding Discussion on Bodybuilding.net Open Conversation

I just put my first item for sale on ebay. I'm exhausted. It's a grinding process though I'm sure it will get easier as time goes on. Since I am going to have the same items for sale over and over hopefully once I get the sale right I can just copy it as needed.

Any ebay sellers here?

Im all signed up, but that is all (for now). What kind of payment.....thing are you going to use (eg PayPal)

PayPal. I've used it to buy stuff but tonight switched it over to receive payments.

With all the fees, and how competitive supplements are, I'm not sure if the margins are enough to make it worth it.

Over the years Ive collected some interesting natural geological 'artifacts' from out in the mountains up here in BC, as well as some old mine site items from around 100 years ago. Im worried about shipping costs due to excess weight for some of the items I have.....We'll see I guess. Good Luck

I think those that in the market to buy those know the weight issues. Put a typical one in a box and take it to see the shipping.

And what sort of artifacts? Hubcaps?

LOL...No, LOL,.... raw gemstones, crystals, mineral/ore rocks, raw silver/mineral rocks, mica, jade....to name a few. Ive got some other items as well....no hubcaps though!

Do you then polish them up, etc? Turn them into huge beltbuckles and sell them at truck stops.

Are you trying to sell supplements? Personally I found it wasn't worth it on Ebay because they take a cut, then paypal takes a cut, and before long your prices aren't very attractive because you have to readjust them so your making a decent profit. Just my two cents.
