Default Gamers

I know a lot of people on here play.
Xbox,Playstation,PC or Nintendo. It dosen't matter we all love games.

Personally I have a ps3 , I had a hard choice to make between the xbox360 and ps3,(I still want the wii, just couldn't find it in time)
I ended up with the PS3. (Some may say wrong choice, but to each their own.)All I have done is hook it up to test it, I will get more into it after / during the holidays.

I am interested in hearing some peoples opions to the different systems and games. Most systems have the same games (with some exceptions) I can't wait to try out some of the new games I picked up . NFL 07, NHL 08, Tiger 08, Spiderman 3 , Ultamite Allience, Enchanted Arms and Motorstorm. So many more I want to try

One more thing, there are alot of videos out there that show PS3 vs Xbox360 . I found this one that proves that it's all in the setting of your t.v. THey both have amazing HD graphics.

I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"

Cheap and fun, that sounds about right to me

I really want a wii, its a lot of fun, regardless of the graphics.

I have a 360 and its freakin sweet, I'm not really a gamer, i dont play it all that often unfortunately, but I do get into some halo, and i've been hitting up some ultimate aliance now and then. My problem with the ps3 is first off the price, second all the new models they have come out with that have stipped out features, and lastly the graphics issue. I see what your saying about the settings talo, but if the game doesnt allow for full 1080p, the ps3 will down grade all the way to 420p. Perhaps they have fixed this with the newer models, but the reviews i read some time ago had that as a major negative.

I also like my 360's integration with windows, I can stream audio and video straight from my desktop (although the formats are limited). and most of my buddies had 360 long before I did, so they are all on live, and its fun to kick the shit out of them at halo 3. Ok, I lie, I'm not good at halo at all, i get my ass kicked regularly.

The wii graphics are more cartoonish, I think that's the way nintendo has always gone and will continue in time. They are in there own class forsure. My mother inlaw just bought 3 of them, she works at a long term care ( in the hospital) and the old folks just love it. They can't get out as much as they use to. This way they can do anything they have ever wanted to do. Even if ther're in a wheelchair.

As for the ps3 not playing 1080p , I didn't know that.Like I said I haven't played it yet,so Im kinda hoping its in the earlier models. Will let you know. I picked up the 80g version for $500, which was the same price as the 360 (up here anyways) plus zero extra charges (ie bluerays or online fee) So in the end it was cheaper.

Well we have the ps2 and still enjoy it.

I bought the wii last year. We have not had any problems with it. When my parents come over they like playing it, in fact my kid still loves playing the wii sports game it came with. I think that in its self is amazing considering he is only turning 8 this month, and keeping his interestin anything more than a day is a mircle.

We just purchased the xbox360 from costco.com and came in just came in U.P.S. yesterday so we'll see
