Getting a tan

Yeah so anyways i notice alot of body builders sport a tan and what not. Me im a pale person lol. Anyways i need a tan so i was debating on either going natraul or using the tanning bed at the gym. Anyone with experience on this crap have any thoughts on which is better/safer? I rather not really die of cancer just to look better lol.Let me know what any of you think thanks

I'm pretty sure a lot of those guys use rub on stuff before shows. Not all of them of course. If you look at their face especially you can see the uneveness sometimes.

As far as I know a tanning bed is no safer than the real thing.

When you see a bodybuilder on stage they usually are hitting up the tanning booth/bed several times the week before the show, then they apply several coats of protan, janatan, and instant tanners like that.

Why not try going outside or to the beach to get a tan....much cheaper lol

Dude, trust me on this.. The tanning salons are an awesome place to pick up chicks. The high maintenence ones that are "firecrackers". That means they're good for only one bang before you move on. Those are the ones that want you more the worse you treat them! lol

Seriously though, when I was single, I've always used the tanning beds. I always preferred to use the standing ones because they're more powerful..I think it was a 10 minute max. Twice a week for 5 minutes and you'll be set.

I grew up in MS and had a perpetual tan but that is only because I spent entire summers outside wearing nothing but shorts.

I've never undestood that. I'm white. I was meant to be white. I look good white. I was trying to explain my veiws on that to my neighbor the other day while he was sitting outside baking in the sun. That was right after we discussed how he would have to get a few more precancerous lesions removed from his chest AFTER he got back from baking some more in Florida.

Maybe it's just me but when a really naturally light skinned person has a dark tan they look ridiculous. But I did go through a stint of tanning bed obsession in the Air Force because I had a girlfriend you was very into tanning and I was young and she was hot and well you know....but I didn't get much of a tan at all since as I said before I am white and was meant to be white....

That's pretty funny stuff...so true!

I met my current gf of a year at a tanning salon...of all places!

Re tanning beds...long story short...your lifespan can be directly related to the dosage. Meaning the more you use the greater chance of skin cancer...

Someone should tell those hot chicks that!
