Default Golds gym can go to hell! (venting)

im so fed up with that shit hole.i got there and its so god damn crowded today that it took me an hour to get 2 shoulder and 2 tricep exercises done and i was working out alone. The wait is retarded. So anyways then i got to cancel my shit there since im going to a new gym that doesnt suck as much ass as that one and the dick head tells me that it tkaes a 30 day notice ot cancel so they are going to bill me again in july. I think this is th e biggest load of horse shit i ever heard. I mean im 18 going on 19 i pay for this shit myself and to bill me another 52 bucks for somethign i dont want is plain horse shit. That place is so set up for the rich people and i cant stand it. Im thinking of going back tommorw and telling the guy hes an asshole. He wrote on the slip im quiting due to lack of time. I should tell him because the fact there is only 3 benches and 1 power rack and only 1 decline bench and one inverted one. There is a diffrence between a god damn lack of time and waiting 30 min between exercises to get started. Then you got the god dman pussy rich boys who have mommy and daddy pay for them to hang out at the gym and fucking hog the machines. They got arms the size of a pencil but yet they get in groups of 5 and lift 5 pounds and spend an hour on a god damn place and you get stuck losing your nice pumped up feeling because these kids have nothing better to do.

Ahh i feel much better know if any of you guys go or have gone to golds gym let me know how you felt about it.

I think problems like this occur at every gym at one point or anther, I can recall times at my gym when I experienced the same thing. Really sucks, especially when you know those people dont really care about working out, but they are there cuz they "have to" or something like that, so you watch them take up the bench and just go through the motions when you have a serious workout to do. definatly sucks alot. Just wait until the begining of the year rolls around about 3 4 weeks into the new year youll start to see the gym parking lot packed cuz everyone made some type of new year resolution and they are all doing cardio, give it a few weeks and it should get better cuz most of them fail and never come back. Prolly the same thing is happening at your gym but instead of new years resolutions more like "get it shape for beach"

Check this out:

If you can, find a gym that has a "pay per month" option. That's all I ever did. I suggest you send a CERTIFIED letter of cancellation. This means someone has to sign for it when it arrives. Some guy writing something on a slip is a good way for you to get screwed over with them billing you every month because they conviently have no record of you quitting. Pay the extra month and cut your losses or use the gym for that month...

Gold's Gym is a black hole of greed...

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

LA fitness did that to me. They kept sending me bill after bill, then saying that I was past due ect ect. That shit was a hassle

The one-month cancellation thing shopuld have been told to you when you signed up. It is almost definitely in your contract.

The Gold's near me requires a three month notification. It's really two, becasue they count the current month towards it.

I don't think it's Gold's Gym that sucks, just the one near you.
