Default I am so depressed...:(

I can't pick between these two colleges as you can see in my other post. I have to send in the $250 fee to the one in east Tennessee by Thursday and pre registration online is Monday and I have to pick a decision. I don't know what to major in either! I know I am going into my sophomore year only but I want to know what to major in! Things that interest me are Business, Physical Therapy, something dealing with people, or something that deals with sports like sports med or marketing.

I don't know what to do!! I am so depressed and I have to hurry about college decision for this year!

I took a bunch of career tests and one of them showed these results as my highest interests:

Personal Service as my highest, then Clerical, then Teaching/Social Service as the third highest.

what's so damn hard? flip a coin and then sign up for general studies. surely there's clasess you're gonna still need regardless of what your major ends up being.

this little delimma of yours is insignificant in the grand scheme of things. just make a decision already and quit worrying about it.

if you are interested in business i would recommend applying to the business school because it tends to be difficult to transfer to the business school once you are admitted into another area. Take a diverse selection of classes, accounting, math, science, psychology, history, english... see what you like. If you can't handle accounting or dont like it, dont do business. Once you get a feel for the kinds of classes and areas of studies at your university, then you can seriously pick a major. Just dont take more than 1 class in any specific area until you have a major in mind and you will be able to find something you like.

People knowing exactly what they want to do from like the time they're twelve mostly only happens on TV. It's hard to know what interests you if you haven't been exposed to it. Lots and lots of people don't pick a major right off the bat. Just do what sdf42450 said. You'll have general things you have to take and some electives.

Eric3237's Sig:To go from the general to the specific is a very good idea. But to go from the specific to the general; that's just confusing.

congrats man! i've got 2 uncles that do that and they love it. if i was going to get a service job, it'd definitly be a firefighter... EVERYONE loves to see a firefighter, but nobody is happy to see the cops. chillin' at the firehouse liftin and pulling pranks on guys and occassionally getting to but out a hellacious blaze would be pretty exciting! those guys get some nice benefits as well. i hope you love every minute of it
