Thanks. We have looked into those before, but they take up too much space (we currently live in a junior one bedroom apt). We have it hanging off a chin up bar in the middle of one of our doorways. Thought someone out there would have an idea of sorts.

Thanks for the response.

lol punching judy is a fun game...Matt....I had a double ended timeing bag in my apt...Find which way the floor joist run in the ceiling. Get a speedbag swivel the one with 4 screw holes. (everlast makes them) screw the swivel into the floor joist. ran bunji from swivel to top of bag and rope from bottom of bag and tied around a 20lb barbell. Gave me plenty of room and put bunji on a clip the only thing there when ur done is swivel on the ceiling...The Joist was hard to find I ended up drilling around 30 holes in my ceiling to find it...All I did to hide the holes was wad toilet paper up in them and could never tell the difference...

Thumbs up

I found this useful,

It's a youtube video showing how to hang a punching bag in an apartment. I highly suggest watching this, if you want a CHEAP, easy, and super effective way to hang your punching bag in your apartment. i did and it turned out great!
