rip

kirby

Chuck Norris's Sig:"Chuck Norris's girlfriend once asked him how much wood a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. He then shouted, "HOW DARE YOU RHYME IN THE PRESENCE OF CHUCK NORRIS!" and ripped out her throat. Holding his girlfriend's bloody throat in his hand he bellowed, "Don't fuck with Chuck!" Two years and five months later he realized the irony of this statement and laughed so hard that anyone within a hundred mile radius of the blast went deaf"

I remember growing up and watching Kirby at the Metrodome. Even though I hate the Twinkies (go White Sox) I got to say, he was fun to watch and had that appeal that many ball players today just don't have. Not to mention he always seemed to smile and be enjoying the game.

Sucks to lose someone that young, but at least he got into the Hall of Fame while he was still alive to see it.

He was a force. I didn't get the details of what caused the stroke although he was a big guy.
