Gender: | I remember growing up and watching Kirby at the Metrodome. Even though I hate the Twinkies (go White Sox) I got to say, he was fun to watch and had that appeal that many ball players today just don't have. Not to mention he always seemed to smile and be enjoying the game. Sucks to lose someone that young, but at least he got into the Hall of Fame while he was still alive to see it. |

| Im actually was raised in MN and still live here now, hit the state pretty hard, he was a real ambassador for baseball, minorities and working hard, if and WHEN minnesota ever makes thier mind about building a new stadium, they plan on naming it KIRBY PUCKETT PARK |
