Talking Nintendo Wii being sued

Nintendo Sued for Defective Wii Wrist Straps

By: César A. Berardini - "Cesar"
Dec. 19th, 2006 2:01 pm

Law firm Green Welling has filed a nationwide class action lawsuit against Nintendo of America on behalf of Wii owners for the defective wrist straps of the Wiimote that have caused so many injuries.

The lawsuit also seeks an injunction that requires Nintendo to correct the defect in the Wii remote and to provide a refund to the purchaser or to replace the defective Wii remote with a Wii remote that functions as it is warranted and intended. the company said in a press statement.

Web site Wii Have a Problem, located at www.wiihaveaproblem.com, has compiled a list of injuries caused by defective Wiimote straps. Some of them are in the limit between funny and life-threatening.

how big would you be if ALL you did was:

Squat 400 x 20
Deadlift 500 x 5
Bench 315 x 5, or dip with 100 lbs added.
Chin with 75 lbs strapped to your waist x 5
Miltary Press 225 x 8

Pretty ****ing big is my guess. Without any "rear delt work".

My buddy has a wii an it is cool as hell. If you can't handle playing a video game and not hurting yourself, you should contimplate wearing a helmut at all times. The straps arent that bad, some people just have no motor skills at all, but of course its a problem with the controler, not user error ...

I for one cant wait to see if santa (or my gf) has one of these under the tree for me this year. The first person fighting game for this system looks outstanding.

Yeah, if you have kids, then definately pick one up. That's the intended demographic.. Not to say that it still wouldn't be fun for adults.

I bought the xbox 360 because I personally prefer the military games with a lot better graphics. Rainbow Six: Vegas looks awesome! Plus, that game has a "realism mode" which is my choice. That basically means after getting shot ONCE, you die.. To me that's what makes a game like that fun. Taking your time behind cover and using actual tactics vs. something like Metal of Honor, getting waxed 50 times, then drinking a canteen to replenish your life

What fun is that, I spend half my time fighting and the other half looking for med pacs or shooting things that make them magiclly appear

yeah my cuz has gears of war. that game is sick. I like the 360 alot, but the interactive controler is just too cool. Not to mention the price difference.

Umm.. I think when I bought the deluxe 360 it COMES with a 3 month membership? Not too sure, but I think so. And I have high speed internet in my house, so it's a matter of figuring out how to get the cords/ethernet from my computer to my xbox.

Plus, I need the xbox live because once you hook up, they say it automatically downloads to the harddrive the capability to use almost every regular xbox game with the 360.

If I find out, you NEED to stick around the forum this time Troy! Or at least give me an address where I can find your Marine ass...
