dude..u have to go to a doctor....how can u expect someone sitting in front of a computer to tell u ur problem? sure eric/0311/dave/hrdgain/sleazy will be able to tell u what they feel, but it is only the doctor who KNOWS what has happened....and u never know: these injuries may become VERY serious....

He's very right. And if there is anything wrong with your heart ignoring it won't make it go away. As I said before the most likely cause is too heavy weights or improper warmups. However it occured to me that you had been working out 5 days a week or something? For six months without a day off? THAT could lead to injuries depending on what you were doing.

I used to get the same thing. It used to be really bad, but it only hurts when I let the bar go during preacher curls or barbell curls (heavy). I bet you were probably using a straight bar for your forearm work? According to a sports medicine physician, it's called ulnar stress syndrome and it's due to extreme supination of the forearms and undue stress placed on the ulna secondary to weak forearm musculature. I'm not saying your forearms are weak, just maybe overworked. Unfortunately, the only things to do is to wrap it up tight and deal, or switch to lighter weight while the pain goes away. What worked best for me was to stop using the straight bar for a while...

On the forearm thing 0311 has most likely hit it on the head. As far as what I was saying if you feel you are being prone to injuries and you've gone for six months like that it could be part of it. Sometimes you need a little extra downtime from training here and there.
