I just got into racketball and even though I suck right now, I love it. I also play alot of golf, pool, bowling, and poker. Basically anything I can play with friends and suck down a few brews. On a non sports note I'm addicted to this bowling arcade game called Silver Strike that is alot like Golden Tee except its bowling

Dosen't anybody do real fun stuff. I like to hunt, fish (fresh or deep sea), swim, hike, I love camping, waterskiing, snowboarding, paintballing,dirtbiking/atv, going to almost any sporting event, baseball, football, hockey (just not this year) basketball. Auto shows and of course Monster Truck Rallys. I can't think of everything, this is just off the top of my head but I'm generally doing one of these and of course I do this with the wife and kids. :)

hrdgain81 04-06-2005 05:01 PM

I love car shows, I havent been to one down south yet, but up north we used to go to red bank nj, or the ny auto show, any kind of car show is the shit.

Martial arts tournaments, i love to compete.

Hitting the beach is the shit, and traveling (going to other beachs in other countries is off the hook)

and of course drinking, and all the shit i do with the boys, basketball, home run derby (or dooby as we called it back home), smackin bitches and stackin riches. hahahah

Now that its summertime, Im going to do a lot of work on my cars. I have a Silver Grand Prix that i currently have a Intercooler, race trans, headers, exhaust, suspension and all the good stuff already on it. SO I will be taking off the heads, gettin gthem ported, then maybe put a cam in, I have an alky kit, TB, and a bunch of other things sitting in the garage waiting to go on. Its not old american muscle, but I have done almost all the work on her so far, and its great, looking to get into 12s with it. I am supposed to go to some car shows to show off the graphics a place did for me.

And playing with my Pit. We live on a lake, so tubing, fishing and fun is right around the corner.

If I had the time, Id jump in a car and drive to another city, or just drive. Better yet, go to another county. Toronto, Iceland, Sweden, Australia, Greece, and many others on my list. Learning Swedish currently.

I would have to say, that's probably the coolest GP i've ever seen. :D

The Reporter 04-07-2005 08:05 AM

Springtime in Colorado is best spent on horseback. I've got a 20-year old Morgan gelding that loves trail riding. The steeper the better for him. My wife has an 8-year old quarter horse/paint gelding that is faster than shit. We're doing a 15-mile endurance race at the end of April near Denver. She's going to race, I'm just going to enjoy the scenery.

Bodybuilding and the equestrian lifestyle are very complementary. Horses, like ourselves, respond very quickly to nutrition, supplementation and exercise. My 20-year old gets rid of his winter fat by just riding every weekend. He can lose a very noticable 50 pounds in weeks. And when we give them their vitamins, they are just so hyper and energetic.

I can't even imagine what horse steroids would do to my horses. I know what it could do for me though.

joey, what kind of forced induction are you running? Not to sound like an ass, because i respect the work you've done, but why do all that to a grand prix ... just doesnt seem right to me.

I cant wait to start traveling, building up that vacation time, then i'm out. i need to hit australia, it just looks so amazing.

Its cool bro, I get my share of critism from the GP community for looking the way she does. I cant wait til our national drag days to blow people away.
Currently Im running ~18 lbs of boost through an Eaton M90. Im at a bottleneck until I get heads or cam to flow the exhaust. Same Supercharger as whats on Lightnings and australian Holdens. There are many enthusiasts out there, some of the larger groups are at clubgp.com (19,000 users) and 3800tech.com. The GP is a 3.8 V6 240HP stock, and wider is better ;) There are some/few GP's in the 10's sponsored vehicles by zzperformance.com or intense-racing.com. Now you have all the info on GPs

Personally, Ive stayed with the GP because my second car was a 90 GP. She died, great car. Then I bought a 97 GTP, has 130,000 miles and still strong. And I wanted a newer GP, so I got the silver 98 GTP with 56,000 miles. The GP is a versitile sedan, Id even say sleeper in the right hands.
I will say tho, it is expensive to work on a car that has a lower demand/supply of aftermarket dealers/suppliers. headers+ full exhaust=1g, hood 1g, koni struts & springs= 1g, rims and skins=1g, trans 2g, intercooler =1g, damn its rough being a gangsta

OK, Im done with my hijack

hrdgain81 04-08-2005 05:56 AM

f that i'll keep the hyjack going.

I love the ride of the GP, wider is definately better. I was close to buying a new gto, but I think i'm gonna relax on that. I'd rather buy something cheaper and have the money to invest right now.

I used to be a big rice fan. Had a 93 prelude si, and i'm driving a 02 civic si right now, which will be gone in the next few months. I love working on cars regardless of what it is. by the way thats a shit load of boost. I toyed with the idea of boosting my lude, but the money went to college instead.

I'm thinking my next rides are gonna be a wrangler (i love 20min from the beach, i have to have one) and a newer cbr 750. Havent had a bike since I was like 14, I need one real bad. plus with gas prices going up, those two vehicles will save me loot in the long run.

GuardDog 04-08-2005 01:57 PM

Does computers or internet posting count as a hobby? It takes my mind away from the humdrum of the world here. I used to love mountain biking but can't really do that again for a while. I go trail running on the weekends for my workout so that is a little something I get to do outdoors.

Snachito 04-08-2005 06:07 PM

There are alot of different things I do for fun. I love to surf, and I'm also a grappling monster! I know wrestling around with another sweaty man isn't supposed to be fun, but submiting him is! I've gotten into homebrewing beer also, which is really fun to do. I'm working on a fruity ale that is kickin! I just need to tweek it a little more. One thing I would love to do for fun, is learn to play the guitar. Anyways, that's just a little bit of the things I do for fun!

Dave876 04-08-2005 06:43 PM

Snatch...What board(s) do you have? ....As for me I have a 6'9 Planet Blue,and 7'4 Lagoona(I loooove long boards)...Please not gay refs!

WonderMonkey 04-08-2005 07:20 PM

No time for anything for myself (other then working out) but I coach my kid's sports which takes up almost every evening.

GuardDog 04-11-2005 07:07 AM

I don't know if I could teach kids sports because I am very competitive and might teach them the wrong meanings of sportsmanship. Yet, when I am running at the park and stopping to watch the little guys run around the field playing T-ball cracks me up. So I guess being a coach wouldn't be so bad afterall.
