| I saw this on BN, and couldnt help but post it here. Its forum for those who intentionally want to be obese ... it makes me sick to my stomach, so I thought I'd share. http://www.fantasyfeeder.com/cms/forum/index.php |

| ^^ hahaha thats funny as hell Joker It kinda cracked me up when i was looking through it, there were threads like "on the road to 600", which would be a normal thread title around here, or other bodybuilding/powerlifting forums. But its in the exact oposite goal. Some people there is just no hope for. |

Gender: | It's pretty shocking. I feel a lot of pity to tell you the truth. Looks like people with some serious problems that really need help. You probably have compulsive eaters from all different reasons. Abuse victims whatever. They feel alienated and worthless and then not being able to control their eating and being obese feeds that and creates a vicious cycle leading to more eating to feel better. It's an addiction. I know a lot of people think you can't become addicted to food but you can. I tried to think why would people say they want to become obese and then create a "community" around it and the only thing I can think is a defense mechanism. It's kind of a sour grapes thing. You feel out of control of everything. You feel like you don't belong and you are looked down on. You can't control the feelings and you can't control the weight and that leads to more weight which makes you feel more worthless. So you "decide" that you don't want to be thin. You like being obese and you join up with a pseudo community of other like minded people where you can feel like you belong and have a sense of indentity. It's a reality escape. Sadly someone who's gone that far is not likely to ever become healthy again. |

I think a lot of us on here are addicted to food, but that dosen't meen we wake up and have 1lb of ice cream and a bag of chips, then go to McD's ....etc.We do it with chicken, steak, rice, potatoes. Plus we get some exercise. I was watching a show last night on TLC called BIG medicine, it's interesting. I was actually hoping to see some pictures...! | |

Gender: | If you choose healthier foods and eat a lot of them as part of you diet I don't see how that makes you addicted. Food addicts eat the kinds of foods you mentioned, plus larger amounts of steak, chicken, whatever for the same reason an alcoholic doesn't drink wine coolers but tend to go for hard liquor. But I'm not trying to defend anyone. I just don't think there are many people on that board that just like fat and find it sexy or some such nonsense (although there are some). I think they have huge problems that they are finding ways to hide from. |
