Story time. Ok, I'm on the squat rack and just got done doing 3 warmup sets and this HOT red head, (I have a thing for red heads). comes in. Not an oz. of fat on her, tight ass and she is sporting C cups and they are fake and the shirt she's wearing is low cut and tight. I start putting on my normal weight and I was to 5x5s. I get done 3 sets and I keep looking over and he is lifting heavier then some of the guys.. wow I'm in love.. so she comes buy me and does BB curls. I've never seen a chick stick her tits out sooo far when doing curls.. so I have to leave and recoup. I come back do a set and try to not pay attention to her. Right before my last set, I'm standing there and see she's starts to have problems curling up the weight so I think, "OK, she is almost done her set." So, I start trying to get into the zone to do my last set. and then, at a relatively high volume, she gives out these 2 orgasmic moans to finish lifting.... It made my day  yet ruined my lift :( I just couldn't squat any more I was sooo out of it. and to top it off I talked to her a week or so later and she's Bi and her girlfriend is just as hot. sad thing is it's been about 4 months since I've seen her:( | |

Gender: | I workout at the University's gym and half of the place is a social club. Nothing pisses me off more than a group of guys standing right behind you, just laughin it up and talking about how they flunked a course. It's ok to talk at the gym, socialize and what not, but I think half the people there don't even lift a single weight or break a sweat. Next peeve is people that come to the gym dressed in their best clothing. Guys decked out in golf shirts and perfectly clean Nike shoes with gold chains and shit, and girls wearing strapless shirts and more make-up than a racoon. And here I am with a shirt that smells ok and isn't too badly worn, my shoes are another issue, and my gym shorts get a good shot of febreeze every once in a while (no point in wearing them once and washing them right?). It annoys me because its rediculous, you're there to sweat your balls off and get in a good workout, not become a model for Tommy Hilfiger. Last peeve for now...lol... are the showoffs, these are the guys that do bench press with their back more than their chest and always think they can lift the most. I saw one guy 'benching' 300lbs and i thought he was trying to do a backwards somersault. It especially gets me going when the cable machines are packed and you try and work in with them and they always put the pin at the weight they think you should be lifting and then try and max out the machine when its their turn. I try and channel my rage and anger for these people into intense lifting, and as you can see I have no problem getting my anger fuelled |

| Rank: Member | Another thing that annoys me is when people (my friend mostly) go to the gym 4 days a week and do chest every single day. Like 12 sets of flat bench then maybe a few inclines and thats it, then they walk around the gym like a badass. I just look, laugh, and call them a golf tee |

Gender: | you guys have just about named off most of my pet peeves for sure and I'm only 16. My biggest ones are people who dont rack weights, badasses who just bench or curl then walk around for an hour then leave, and people who CONSTANTLY check themselves out in the mirror and flex...but hey thats just me haha |

| Rank: New Member | I cant stand it when these little guys come into the weight room, thinking there all big and everything, and getting all this weight and not lifting it right. It really pisses me off, cause anybody who doesnt know anything about weight lifting, thinks there so strong.... |

Gender: | I stopped working out at the gym a while ago and built a home gym in my basement because I didn't want to deal with the annoyances. It's worked out good for me. There are just always a lot of jerks at any gym. But I never really let what people did bother me unless it directly affected me. All to often it did, like many of the incidents mentioned already. Still, why should I care if someone I don't know is doing some stupid shit, as long as I'm not personally affected? People do dumb and potentially annoying things all the time and not just at the gym. My philosophy was always: I came in here in a good mood. Why should I let you change that. Give you power over me? Course, if I was already in a bad mood, that's a different story... |
