It's funny. When I was in the Marines I was a total lush. I could put a 18 pack down in a night. From the second I got back from Iraq until now, I haven't touched a drop. I actually haven't thought about it until I read this thread. To show you how bad Marines are, this is a typical night out...
Friday night, just got paid. Headed up to Irvine Spectrum in CA. 7:00 pm, five marines stuffed in my car. Sitting in a parking lot in front of a liquer store with 2 bottles of Southern Comfort chugging away. We always started a night off like this because there was always a cheap special on So' Co' and this way we had a decent buzz before we walked into the bar. It saves us alot of drinking money buying drinks all night. So instead of buying $50 worth of drinks/shots throughout the night, we'd have a few beers in our hands just for show and we'd just be sipping on them. The funny part is after all that booze, we'd be totally fine. Never been an incident outside of fighting every other night. When I got out of the Corps, never gave it another thought. One would think that it is probably attributed to what we did for a living, but who knows...

Which reminds me, to add to my lush story. Even in Iraq, after we were done fighting, we still got our hands on whiskey! I was in Al Deywaniya living in an burnt out bank. Iraqi kids would come near our constantia (sp) wire and ask if we wanted whiskey for $20. It tasted like absolute S*#@ but it got the job done!

Mostly vodka in the winter and beer in the summer. Of course I do make exceptions depending on what's laying around the house.

Life has made it virtually impossible for me to consume alochol of any kind so I just stick with Diet Rock Stars. :eek:

Are you talking about the one made by Rc cola Dr.X? That drink is the shiznet, it gets me so hyped up that I run around the house like 20 times.

I'm not sure if they are made by RC. I think they are there own brand but I love those things. I buy them by they case. As a back up Lo-Carb Monsters are great too.

I actually have been trying to quit for personal reasons but on days when I want to rip someones head off and shit down their necks, I grab the bottle of chilled jose cuervo for a couple of shots.

If it is in a white can with kind of golden letters written on it, then it is made by RC cola. They sell that at my dad's store. We get it for about a 1 per can.

j/k man I have no idea what a green fairy or dragon really is. I've been laying off the booze myself lately, but when I drink it's almost always gin or vodka, I'll just mix with soda or tonic water. Sometimes I drink whiskey, that I'll either drink straight or mixed with a little water. I love beer and used to drink a lot of it.. but haven't really touched it for quite some time, too many cals&carbs. Besides, if you're looking to get drunk beer is just too inefficient,by the time you drink enough to feel it you're totally full plus yer in the can all night.. and I'm talking about canadian beer I don't see how you yanks out there can even begin to get drunk off your stuff.
