What do you guys use to cook/grill?

Funny question but oh well... I use a George Foreman grill cause it K.O's the FAT and no i don't use the drippings for gravy :gay:.

Those Foreman things suck (IMO). The absence of a floating hinge makes even cooking impossible if you're cooking anything thicker than a slice of bacon. And cleanup on those? Pfft!

There's another brand of those kind of things that's awesome (can't remember the damn brand off the top of my head). But it's pretty large, has three different kinds of plates (which are fully removable - easy to clean), can be used completely flat (as in a griddle fashion), or folded...and it actually has a floating hinge with something like 3 inches of travel to it.

But I go for the good ol' BBQ myself. I can cook 10 pounds of meat at a time if I want and there's literally no cleanup. :D

I use to cook with a Foreman grill in my dorm room, but I wasnt that impressed with it. I agree with IK that cleanup was a pain on that thing. I am interested in what brand that grill is your were describing.

On the weekend I use our cheap Weber grill and just load up the marinated chicken breasts and whatever I get from the meat market. I wish I still had my BBQ smoker but some asshole borrowed it and has yet to return it :arg:

My new favorite thing is using a crock pot... I just empty a huge bag of frozen chicken breasts and some cans of diced tomatoes and I have chicken for a couple days without any fuss.

crock pots are great, I used to throw all the ingredients in for a stew or chilli or whatever (always with extra meat) and set it on low. by the time i would get home after work, the entire place would smell delicious.

I dont mind baking my chicken breasts, i dont have a grill anymore, so throwing a pan of marinated chicken in the oven, isnt the bad either.

BBQ all the way....if I run out of propane or feel like something different then I'll bake my chicken with spice and veg...

yeah iron what are you using? sounds like a kitchen on the go.. haha yeah i do agree with you on that bacon part and clean up is a b***. but it cooks great chicken breast and steaks. no extra oil need, grills great veggies...

I'm pretty sure this is the one...

I saw it on late night infomercials tons of times (I get so sucked into those things when I can't sleep). It's spendy compared to the typical ones, but it's a helluva lot better.
