I see some threads have a 'check' mark in the Rating column. What is that for?

Oh. It looks like those are the threads in which I've posted. Then what's with the folder icons with the arrow thingy? Seems a bit redundant.

Its ok with me haha. I haven't noticed those check marks in a long time.
