I don't talk about it with people openly so most people don't really know I'm into it.

That first time we go to the beach or swimming and the shirt comes off makes it all worth it.

yes john917v i was lifting 3 hrs a day in high school and did not start-up again till 3 yrs ago what a differents it has made

I also used to be fat-really fat-I was 300lbs @ one point-but now, I am at 250, and I am MUCH better, but nowhere close to where I want to be (where people say, look at that sexy beast)

Several reasons in no particular order....

- Look better naked
- Sense of progression and accomplishment
- Pushing my body to its limits
- Attracting the opposite sex
- Overall health benefits
- Love of the sport

And because if I stopped lifting now all my hard work and dedication would go down the drain. Its a vicious cycle.
