My setup is basically the same as what you had in the video. Except that I use +100lb dumbbells. They are held up by the edge of the platform. And they're round dumbbells. Hexagonal ones might even work better...same difference at least. You're lifting on the same platforms that are at my gym, I think. I don't know if that helps at all. Should be pretty secure...I've seen people doing banded deads with +300. What you had is perfectly fine. Just thought I'd throw in my 10 cents. I'll be doing deficit deadlifts soon also.

That setup looks fine. I just didn't think you'd have all that room to stretch out the bands so much.

Great! I was worried about the set-up not being tight enough. Great to know you approve!

As long as it feels good and smooth and it's enough resistance it's all good.

Oh, oh...you're using bands on military press? Be VERY careful. That actually kinda scares me. I don't want to scare you of course but bands over the head may not be something you want to do with you shoulder history without first getting more used to "just bands" overhead rather than with a bar...ANYONE can hurt their shoulders with overhead bands..let alone you.

Those bands should be more in line with the middle of you feet I would think rather than pulling you forward.

Were those weighted pullups?

Cool. Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't sure you'd want me to do banded presses (and I also thought you'd believe I have become band-obsessed like how a kid gets with a new toy) so I just did 2 sets. I won't repeat banded speed work.

No, the pull-ups weren't weighted. I don't have the strength to do them weighted for cluster sets. 40 reps is a lot and the last time I did this cluster set-scheme on maximum strength I weighed 175 lbs. So being 195 (or maybe more now) this is a big jump for me, sir.
