It does, but all the meat I eat is cooked.

You should try it for a few days and you will see how much you may have been over eating.

I'll send you an email tonight !

Ok I'm a bit confused, your saying by calculating my macros with cooked meats, I'm taking in too much?

Talo, got your emails, I'm going to look through it this afternoon, thanks.

Yup. Try it.

If you don't get a chance to weigh it raw (restaurant, parent's house, party, etc...) a good rule of thumb is that the cooked weight is approx. 75-80% of the raw weight. So if you are supposed to have 200 grams of raw chicken, and it is prepared before you have a chance to weigh it, you would want to eat 150-160 g of cooked chicken.

ALSO, almost ALL restaurants list the RAW weight of meat! So if the menu says 8 oz filet mignon... it was approx. 8 oz before it was cooked.

This was a poor week for me. I had 5 workouts, none of which went to well, I had serious energy issues that I attribute to a lack of sleep. Food intake was normal but there were a few meals that I could have cut back on.

Overall I lost a 1/2 pound this week, bringing my total from the start of the showdown to minus 3 1/2 pounds.

I'm down 2lbs (256) this week, workouts have been great, energy is up, and the diet is getting dialed in. I'm a little upset with myself, I over slept this morning and missed my first meal, I'm adding some additional cals to each of my other meals to make up for it.

So total I'm still up 2lbs but we are moving in the right direction now.
