Add some bacon to your diet too . Nothing like the anticipation of the smell of bacon in the moring to motivate you to eat a big breakfast.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Sounds good, but I think I will just stick with my eggs, oatmeal and milk...Nice,easy and yummy.

Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I have a cup of yogurt, 1 scoop of protein, 1/2 cup milk and some oats.

I was kidding. All the talk about fat and I was interested to see what bacon would lead to

Although I will say that a hyuuge breakfast is one of the keys to everything. Including keeping down fat. When people say that breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day they are right on, imo. It is no coincidence to me that people are becoming more and more obese, eating more and more, and yet skipping breakfast more and more...or just having some frosted flakes. Couple that with the "not eating after 6 or whenever" and you have an extended fast resulting in gulp, fat hoarding, not to mention fluctuations in sugar levels thoughtout the day leading to the same. One reason 0311 isn't putting on a lot of fat is that he eats a lot of WHOLE eggs too. There I said it, fat helps. Even bacon in that regard would do some people good. And I'm only posting all this cuz 0311 gets touchy if I don't post in his journal .

It is exactly like you say, 0311, people act like "if you eat fat you'll get fat". I had said before, in another thread, that if you want to look at scientific studies on this milk issue, whole milk has led to LESS fat gain than fat free and low fat milk in the few studies. This obviously isn't comprehensive but it does serve to back up your point that fat doesn't always make you fat.

ME BENCH finally came and went. Close grip bench for my ME. Had to beat 335 x 1, which I easily did. I worked up to 315 x 1, 345 x 1, then barely missed 365. Just too tired after the previous set. Next time I can get it if I do 315, then the 365. Oh well. DROP set of 315 x 6 reps medium grip bench press.

4 Board pressing I tried to once again get 350 x 5. So instead of doing a few sets before it, I just did 315 x 3, then jumped up to the 350 and just barely got all 5 reps. I felt a lot better with these.

JS Rows I still kept 265 for three sets of eight. Feeling easier every time. I like breaking up my pressing with these. Gives me time to recover. On the schedule I'm slated for shoulder pressing after my ME triceps exercise. I used to do it, but now it's getting too heavy.

Hammer strength I added another 20 pounds for shoulder pressing. I'm up to 250 lbs (2 plates, 25, 10 per side). Three sets of 12,10,8. Next week I should get all three sets of 12 hopefully...Really depends on my ME.

Did some face pulls, biceps, and high rep banded pressdowns.

Got it easy....

ME SQUAT/DEADLIFT:

Took longer than usual because I went to the gym in the pm instead of the afternoon. I got into a debate with one of my gym friends about OLY squats. He said that they are parallel, and anything lower ruins ligaments.

Well, I did more sets and reps than usual just to show him he's wrong. Did 315 x 3 raw, 365 x 2 raw, then did the 405 x 1 with a belt. Felt really fast too. DROP set with 315 x 6 raw, and I could've easily kept going past 10 reps, but I wasted a half hour already on these and still haven't done the rest..

Plate deadlifts I pulled 455 x 1. Great power on these. Could've done more, but I wasn't sure since I did all the OLY squats.

Pullthroughs, hypers, ect. to follow. Strong day in the gym for sure.

wow....

u know (and u might think this has nothing to do with ur workout, but...) a lot of PL'ers do ME for squat and deadlift on the same day because they believe that at meets they are doing squat, bench and dead on the same day. so why the hell not do it during some regular workouts as well? lol.

anyways. awesome work. 455 deads? fuck. i have a long way to go. awesome work sir.
