You woke up at 7:30am and didn't have anything to eat until 1pm. Maybe this is why your feeling sluggish ?

I gotcha Hrdgain. I just didn't want to see you selling your results short because a lot of people do seem to think it's a certain length. Keep in mind that a deload may not be needed if symptoms don't warrant it and very small changes can be used to continue progression while also giving the body more rest....short of a full deload. But of course you know you body best.

Talo, I woke up at 7:30am, grabbed my blackberry, sent my boss an email that I wasnt coming in, then turned over and went back to sleep. I know that was a long time to be asleep, but my body needed it. I am no longer sluggish, and I am feeling much better. Good look though, glad to have you checkin in.

Eric, yeah thats how I'm lookin at it, I will cross the deload bridge when I come to it. No worries, and thanks.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Don't worry about a deload until the time comes to make the decision...then again a good deload does work wonders.

Gotcha, I didn't think you would go that long without eating. Sure is long time to sleep, but sometimes that's what the body needs...Glad your feeling better

Friday was a bitch of a day. My gf moved out of her apartment, so that means I didnt get to lift friday. Instead, i was up early moving furniture, then I went and worked a full day, to again resume moving furniture when I was done.

My diet was off, i missed my workout, and I wasnt happy about it. But she needed my help, so what can ya do. either way I'm back at it this week, and I cant wait for tonight.

Monday

Training
(final sets)
Squat 265x5
BB Bench 280x5
High Row Machine 175x5

Diet

Has been shit this week, I made the mistake of eating a sandwich on a hogie roll at around 5pm. It screwed me up pretty bad, had gastro distress, became sluggish, and could barely keep my eyes open through my workout.

*Comments*

I am an idiot, and I need to keep my diet in check. I dont even know how I got to the gym feeling the way I did, but I worked through it. The wieghts moved easy for being so out of it, but i'm sure my rest periods were more then they should be.

Sometimes after a stressfull week or hard diet the brain doesn't work the same and you kinda talk yourself into something yummy..... Either way don't worry about man, you've done very well.

Thanks talo, just tryin to bring my numbers up toward yours ... slow an easy. Its just wierd when the wieghts feel light, but you dont feel like you have the energy to move them. Freaking wierd day yesterday.

Oh and as if my diet wasnt bad enough, tonight is Pass Over dinner at my gf's house. I'm sure that will fit in nicely with my diet ... and then there is easter sunday ... man I love eating.
