ME Bench Day


Hit the MPs again today, had a decent workout, hit what I think is a PR (still womanly).I managed 135lbs for a steady single. Did a bunch of other singles then a rep set.Moved to chins, back and traps etc is still gassed from Mondays pulls so I hit 2 sets then did some tris and called it a day. I did do a couple sets of 1 arm DB swings to finish, these will be added in regularly from now on, good movement.

Strict Military Press

DELOAD Squat Day

Feeling a little beat, just a bit flat, did not want to go 10-15 rounds with the SSB+ Bands today so I free squatted.Worked up to a PR of about 438ish I beleive.Shoulda went 200kg or 440 lbs dammit.Anyways squats felt good havent free squatted in probably over 6 months but held it down.Need to bring my stance in a tad and get a faster descent should help me get that last inch depth I need.Did some rep work GMs and had to shoot to a physio appointment.Gonna pig out and watch tv tonight.Yay.

DELOAD Squat Day 8/10/10

Free Squat with suit and wraps
1x1 160kg
1x1 180kg
1x1 190kg (PR)
Straps Up
1x2 160kg (Just to feel em out super easy)

GMs
1x8 100kg
2x10,8 110kg (+9kg bar)

Feeling good, I set a goal of 140kg raw for 20 off my parallell box a long time ago, with those GMs I reckon I would be close.I'll test one of these days!

Bench Day

So I built the kids a sandpit this week and now the fun part. Filling it up! Shovelled about 1 tonne of sand into the bloody thing then tried to bench. Warmups felt great up to about 2 plates then it was like I instantly forgot what little I know about how to bench. I kept belly dumping it turning the press into a front raise bench press combo.Sigh………. Anyways did some rows after and then a rep set of CG pushups, these are cool, awesome swole of these.

1x Splat 92.5kg (WTF?)

ME Squat Day

Toe dat bar up today! Used SSB pin squats for ME today, destroyed my last workouts effort and hit 127.5kg for a top single, then hit a rep PR.Took the belt off and did a shitload of RDLs, finished with heavy situps and RHs. Real good day, felt very strong.

ME Squat Day 11/10/10

1x1 105kg (PR)
1x1 107.5kg (PR 280lbs for Ex)

5x8 Up To 110kg x10

Roman Chair Situps

Side note I had to stuff a piece of foam inside my belt before I levered it now, I have lost so much gut that when I lever the belt I can fit my whole hand into it, looks like I need to either rework a couple new holes or buy a smaller belt! Good and bad problem to have I guess.

ME Bench Day

Tested the floor press today, yikes my bench has taken a ****ing hit for sure. Hit 112.5kg for my top set and missed 115kg, my old fat guy PR is 120kg.Gay, man I am hating this.Anywyas moved to MPs and did a couple triples and a solid double, these are feeling better, finished with tris.I’ll do my chins and extra PC work tonight.

DE Squat Day

Used a blue and orange band today, ****ing strong tension that was, used about 115kg of bar weight and did my doubles.Wanted to push a couple extra sets but had a slight mishap whilst racking the bar and ended up dumping it. Brand new ELEIKO bar hit the floor hard. (cries). Did some GMs next but was super gassed from the squats so did not set the rep PR I was after. Finished with some 1 arm DB swings. Good day, just tough.

DE Squat Day 15/10/10

Box Squat + Blue and Orange Bands

6x2 95kg

GMs Wide

6 sets up to 1x4 95kg (wanted to hit 8+ Reps!)

Hit up some 5s today for benching, leg drive was missing from about my 1st 3 sets, I remembered it on my last 2.Dumbass. Did a gang of chins after, then some tris and stuff. Good day I guess.

ME Squat Day

Used the almighty SSB today for ME work. Squatted raw to a parallel box, hit about 150kg for a top set, 160kg squashed my ass LOL.There is more in the tank tho I hope to beat that record soon.Attempted a widowmaker after and got to 15 reps then my vagina kicked in and had to rack it, I was seeing stars. Pulled conventional next to see where its at I left the belt off and hit 179kg easy, goal is to do some work beltless conventional and see how it affects my geared sumo. Finished with reverse hypers.Good day.
