Well i've done my first two depletion workouts, and i gotta say they kicked my ass. I'm tired, and out of it today. Tomorrow is the intensity workout, so I get to carb up late in the day ... I cant wait. As for the fat loss part of it, we will have to wait an see. I'm not counting this week as part of the actual diet because I dont have everything dialed in yet. Once i'm back down to 220 or so, I'll start keeping track of losses, and thats when i'll start the new journal.

First couple weeks of the depletion workouts are the hardest. The subsequent depletion days won't be easy by any stretch of the imagination but it does get easier. Wednesdays were always toughest for me for some reason. I LOVED the tension workout because of the impending carb load that followed. It was always so fun to head to the grocery store that night and pick my carb up foods. Good luck on the program.

yeah wed and thurs morn were hell, i was in a fog and couldnt think straight. Last night was ridiculous, I chugged down 100g of pure virtago directly after my tension workout, then move on to rice, beef, ect. I ended with a couple of snow cones before hitting the sack. Although i didnt reach the total carbs I was suppose to, I feel real good this morning, not bloated or fat like binging on carbs usually does to me. Its not easy taking in all that your suppose to in that time frame. good look rory

I've never had a problem hitting my numbers for the carb load. However, the first time I had the Thurs. post-workout shake, it was quite an experience. I forget the actual gram count but it had to be over 100g of a dextrose/malto. mix. During the drive home, I started feeling sweaty, then nausea set in, and then finally the 'ol GI started acting up. I was squeezing my ass cheeks as hard as I could on the way home. Dude, I barely made it to the toilet. It was one of those "pulling your pants down, sitting, and dumping" movements all in one smooth motion. hahaha. Good times.
