Thursday November 6th
179lbs Hack Squats 375x3 385x3 385x3 Booyah! Added 20lbs to hacks again (+45lbs over 2 weeks). I was going to go for 395 but if I would've got it, I would've had to try 405 :D Maybe if I feel like a brick shithouse for the third week in a row lol, I will try it. Pullthrough 200x10x2 Felt very strong again. Front Squats 135x6x2 Easier than last weeks 125, but still a brutal exercise :biglaugh: It seems like I'm my strongest on this day. Maybe I'll make every workout day a thursday :biglaugh: |
You should put up a vid of those hack squats if you can. I'd like to see them done.

I doubt I'll be able to get a camera, but here's the youtube vid from the squat rx guy.
Its pretty much the same as how I do them, except I'm doing them off pins (2-3" off the floor). He mentions flexion in the vid, but when I do them from the pins there's no flexion. If I do them off the floor I get a bit, so I'd rather take the pins :D |

I did notice that he had all kinda of weird flexion going all the way up through his low back up to his mid back even... Is this normal? It seems to clear up some when he does it off the ballz of his feet. (Or maybe I just can't tell cause he is facing away?) Any comments? IW |
