Well this should probably illustrate all the stuff I say about how just because you can do something doesn't mean you are ready to be doing it. I would avoid maxing on deads at this stage in the game until later on when you have simply built more strength endurance in the lower back and more mass in the upper. Not to mention all that core control you are working on. The problem with deads is simply that they will not always let you know you are not prepared until afterwards when it is too late.

I'm not saying not to go for more on deads...just not go for absolute maxes. I know it is fun and very satisfying. But next time just go for something a little bit more than what you are working with and save maxing for the future when you have more injury buffering going on. But I bet you'll be fine.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

I guess I'm a little behind here, what are these planks you speak of?

incline can be a bitch, I know for me I tend to be lax on form with incline because I dont do it all that often, how are you in that department pity?

Thanks for that link pity, I've actually done those before, we used to do them as part of our "health and fitness" time while I was pledging in college lol. Although I've never seen the side planks before.

Yeah, the idea is to be able to do the front planks for 2 minutes straight, and the side planks for 90 secs.
