So marv, you're elbow problem is because you broke it before? Just wondering because that is the only reference I've seen to what could be wrong so I don't know if I missed any recent aggravating event.

Anyway, I don't know if this will help but for any nagging joint problems I've found a heat rub before the workout to be very useful. I've used it extensively for both elbows and shoudlers. Trust me, you go to a hardcore lifter's club and besides a lot of chalk in the air you will also smell a lot of menthol

Eric3237's Sig:"Not everyone trains for strength": True. Not everyone one is smart either. Personally, I'm training to be an olympic sprinter so I can have big legs. I also like to move huge boulders because I like the way they look over there...

Gday Eric.
Thanks for stopping in. My left elbow doesnt Quite lock out. I broke it years ago and had to do alot of physio to get it moving again. The recent problem started after mucking around at the local pool. I strained my arm. It seemed ok after a couple of hours, but it flared up a week later after doing bent over rows. Its on the mend. I will have to get some chalk man. I will also get some deep heat if I have any further troubles.

Sunday 2nd November
PR day

Squat 142.5kg 2x5,1x3
Bench 115kg 2x3,1x1,1x3
Rows 107.5kg 3x5
Gripwork 80kg 3x5

Squat form was a little out towards the end. I started to push with the legs instead of driving with the hips. This is something I have not done before. It only happened on the last couple of reps on the last set. My training facility refused to turn the fans on today until it reached 28 deg. This was very annoying when trying to squat for sets.

Thursday 6th december
PR day

Squat 152.5kg 1x3
Bench 120kg 1x2
Deadlift 190kg Made it Half way
Chins 20kg 3x5
hanging leg raises
Calve raise 410lbs

I made 1 more rep on squats. Bench has stalled. I didnt make the deadlift. Press has stalled. Rows would need to drop down a couple of kgs and be done for more reps to keep proper technique. It is possible I could make another rep on volume squat day. I could try and add 2.5kg to volume bench and go for a 3x2. However this run seems to be at an end. I have been on this program for about 19 or 20 weeks. Any advice Eric, or anyone else.

Replace Max Effort work with Speed work on PR days??????

Might help push along the volume days which should lead to new Rms when you go back to ME stuff.

I think Rip advises this In PP.

Sunday 9th december

I decided to skip volume day. I felt exausted and thought my body could use the recovery time. I will resume training on tuesday with my recovery session.
