Shiza bro! 500lbs on your back brings you to a whole new level I'd say! Very impressed.

Oct 10th

Went in today so that I'm back on my scheduale .

Since I got my bands I thought I would give them a shot. I tried out all four and ended up doing sets with the green and blues. They will take some time to get use to , but they are fast ! I think I did 9 sets total.
Went to the Incline and did 3x8 with 225 then I did 2 high rep sets ( 20 ) on the pec dec. I hate the pec deck , I feel it more in my shoulders than anywhere else.

Pushdowns 3x40
Standing DB Skull Crusher 1x15
Standing DB curls 2x15

I had such a great pump after this I looked huge ! Anyways , these bands that I have will not be good enough for squats whcih kinda sucks . So I will need to order some different one's from EFTS. But they should be good enough for bench and the speed is sick so I'll work with these for the next while , adding weight slowly.

Good work! Every once in a while it's beneficial to use a high box like that. It gives you a wonderful opportunity to feel the heavy weight on your shoulders and teaches you to strain.

Absolutely. Actually when people are spending a lot of time working at lower percentages with whatever squat they may be doing I push walkouts a lot for a similar reason. And even if you wanted to turn that into shallow squats or high box squats or whatever...

What I have found is the 'shock' of that heavier barbell on your back can cause you to fail when you actually are quite ready for the lift. It's like there's a feedback system that says, whoa, this seems to heavy, let's shut it down. You don't want to 'forget' what the heavy stuff feels like if you can help it.

I agree . Before I did the lift I tested the weight on my back for that exact reason - Then I went to the washroom , just incase I shit my pants , LOL ! What a mess that would be , LOL .

I'm a little late to notice it but god damn that is a helluva squat. I'm not a form expert but for 500lbs. it looked awesome to me too. (If Eric liked it, how bad can it be? haha)

Nice work man, hopefully I'll catch up to you soon enough!
