Thanks.

The house is about 1/4 done. We have put the tile in , now just need to install the laminate floor and the carpet. We are having them do the carper . I try to knock off as much as I can on my days off , but now I'm back to work so it will be on hold for a few days.

Jan 24th

Band work

Face Pulls
Tri pull downs
Band presses

each done 4x25 with two sets with purple bands ( light ) and two with green bands ( medium ).

Pushups 4x15
Bench Press 2x50 @135

Also put in another order for some mini's and heavy bands.

Monday I am going a bit out of order and doing some heavy Bench work with shirt. Scheduale has worked out great with another guy and that's hard to do. So changing up ME lower and ME upper is not a huge deal.

Thanks man , it would be interesting to see how you do with a shirt on.

Also if I can't get that bar to touch I won't be able to do a comp , no matter on the weight !

Are you coming pretty close to touching? I don't remember, is the shirt pretty new or is it already broken in?

I've only had the shirt on twice. The farthest down Ive gotten is a two board.

I need to try and put it on atleast once every two weeks if not every week.

I hear ya. Sounds like you have some breaking in to do. It will be awesome when you find your groove and start touching. There's definitely a fine line between touching and dumping, especially when you get up to the weights you're pushing. It can be frustrating too.

How do you feel about lifting equipped? My raw numbers aren't high enough for me to worry about it yet, but it's something I'll have to deal with eventually. I've lifted a little in gear, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm curious to hear your opinion since you're just getting into it.

I like the gear. Especially when it comes to the bench. My shoulders are my weakest as you all know ( tap out at >350 raw and I'm sore for days after ) But with the shirt it takes all the shoulders out of the equation and I can lift that much more and NO pain at all after or the next day. They actually feel like after a massage

I'm with you 100% on the shoulder issue. Despite the pain, I prefer to bench in a shirt. I still haven't squatted in a suit and I've only deadlifted once.
