Gender: | Workout A. had to use a bench that was way to wide for me, it was the only one open when i got there. ad to go down on weight to compensate for not being able to get my shoulders back far enough. 3/4 mile jog bench: 3x5 at 215 A2G squat: 3x5 at 250 dips: 2x7 at BW deadlift: 1x3 at 320 Last edited by HSfootball16; 05-23-2007 at 02:08 PM. |

Gender: | MP behind the head is, imho, one of the stupidest things people can do. You may not care now but take it from someone near 40....don't do too much stuff behind the head. It's really bad for your, and quite frankly, it's one of those reasons that overhead pressing, which is not of the best things you can do, has gotten a bad rep as something that "injures the shoulders" (and neck, etc.). |

Gender: | alright, ill stick to infont of the head, cuz i like my shoulders working correctly. 3/4 mile jog bench: 3x5 at 225 A2G squat: 3x5 at 255 dips: 2x8 at BW deadlift: 4x5 at 245 i think im going to switch back to lifting with my buddies, but this time 5 days a week, because i found out the did most of there legs on tuesdays and thursdays. this routine has deffinately helped my get through my plateau. when i reach another one ill use this to get through it. |

Gender: | OOPS. BTW, in this line: "it's one of those reasons that overhead pressing, which is not of the best things you can do, has gotten a bad rep as something that" The not was a typo. It IS one of the best things you can do is what I meant to say. Looks like you're going to start spinning you wheels swithching around randomly. This is not a routine that you can just go back to at any time as you get stronger. You should get as much out of it as you can WHILE you STILL can because there will be a time when you will not be able to sustain this kind of progress.
