ill take cleans out of the circut then, ill tell coach i cant do them because of my shoulder. he'll be cool with it. ill get back on it a few days after it stops hurting. probably next wendsday or something. thanks guys, your always a help. i guess just because you've been lifting for a year anda half doesn't mean you know everything... or anything about actually lifting. lol.

Give it as much time as you need. Injuries can go from minor to major in a matter of even one workout. If it gets worse, then you may have to cut shoulders out altogether. Not trying to scare or anything but I take injuries seriously now...you'd be surprised at how much progress an injury can destroy.

ps. I haven't got that much experience on you, I've only got 2-3 yrs worth. Eric has like a billion compared to us though

I don't think I'd want to do cleans in a circuit like that either. But if I were to rate the shoulder hurting potential I really hate upright rows. The thing is it's the context of it too. It's like right things, stacked on wrong things, stacked on ok things, stacked on wrong things. But I'd take out cleans too, at least a step in the right direction. An even better step would be for you coach to visit a few web sites, read a few books...heck they have a whole site dedicated to football training...lots of stuff on weights. Then there's us guys

But I really don't have a lot of personal experience with circuits. Just plenty experience with screwed up shoulders.

EricT's Sig:I'm tired of the myth that bb'rs aren't flexible. As a group, they are extremely flexible. They have an amazing ability to bend over, place their heads between their legs, and blow smoke up their own asses.

he was the strengh and conditioning coach at our local div-1 college, so he really should know what he's doing. my shoulder is feeling better today, not 100% but around 85%. coach switched cleans with hex bar deadlift, he didn't want us using strait bar for space reasons. ill post my workout after 8 on the east coast, ive gutta drive from like now till then.

pecs and tri's and rhomboids killing me. no lift today, just telling y'all how bad im feelin. i woke up today and i could barely use my right arm it hurt so bad to hold something as light as a towel. not cool. im gunna see the trainer at school tommorow about it if it still hurts. the odd thing was, after i was awake and moving for about an hour the shoulder didn't hurt much. it just feels extra sore compared to the other one.
