No plants for me. Lets compare, monsta. We'll see who makes the best gains and credit that to our diets. And then we can write a book about it and sell it to thousands of high school kids (no offense to intended towards anyone).

Gorillas are big and they don't eat salmon...... So I don't think I will have an edge.

Rows - 135 X 8, 6, 5
DB rows - 55 X 15, 10, 8
Lat pulls - 120 X 13, 8, 6
Curls - 55 X 20, 12, 8

Gym was PACKED. Not going in the afternoon again. Ever. I'm finally adjusting to the workout. I've still been concentrating on form a lot and I haven't really been paying much attention to the weight I'm moving. I'll probably start increasing the weight more in the coming weeks. I didn't get to warm up properly today which held me back a lot.

Just teasing you.

Keep in mind in your pursuit of form, that anyone can have good form at light weights. If you were going to work on form, you may want to put yourself into the condition at which form starts to be less of a no-brainer. Not talking about form work with your max effort, but maybe in the 60-70% range. At that point you will be fighting enough weight (relative to your max work) that your form may require a more concerted effort to maintain. Plus since you are under load you may be doing some worthwhile work as well... you know, if you are actually trying to build muscle or strength

Good point. Today I worked with 195lbs...sets of 8. I kept the rest time short, but didn't go to failure. I squatted off of a box some during my warmup. I can squat fine if I move backwards. I did some box squats and that helped me find my plane. I had one of the trainers help me with form and I think I've got it down pretty well. I just need to practice. I had been going to parallel, but I had a lot of pain/soreness/tightness between my glute & ham...which is why I kept going just to parallel because I thought that would help (dumb). Going below parallel helps a LOT. I am not going to have to stop squatting to heal judging by today's workout.

I also got some new shoes today...they're actually track shoes (for +800 meters). The toes kind of point up, the soles are flat, and they have great lateral support. I went this morning looking for flat soled shoes with good lateral support and came across these. I bought them, drove to the gym, put them on, and then started squatting. Track shoes are cheap. These make a big difference.
