Get well man!

Its still sweet that you hit 225lbs with a bum shoulder. Just hang in there, the sickness will pass.

I might start a CKD today. It depends on how inspired I am when I go to the grocery store in a few minutes... If I do start today, then I'll post about it again in a few days & I'll be logging on fitday.

Will Michelob Ultra knock me out of ketosis?

Damn, I wish you had commented sooner...I just got back from the grocery store! Honestly, I'd probably have to water down the amber food coloring before adding a drop to the water...

I just bought a bunch of food. This CKD thing will probably be tough at first. I'm very used to eating low fat. On the plus side, this basically means no more eating out for me. Which means...more money in my pocket.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering what my goal is with the CKD... My goal is to just do it. I really don't have much of a reason except that I got bored and I want to eat at home more and it's something different.

Good luck with it. You'll do good. The first few weeks will be the hardest then you will love it.

CKD=Leam Mass , Baby !

Thanks!

I had no idea that eggs had so much fat in them until this morning. I won't be having them too often anyway...I feel the same way about eggs that most people feel about tuna.

I just can't wait to get into ketosis. I've set up at least a dozen keto diets for people over the past year, but it's something that I haven't done myself yet. I think it's kind of cool that I know enough about it off the cuff to just start one...I'm glad that I've already researched it sooooo much. I'm hoping it works out well. I'll probably end up going through your journal for some ideas eventually.

Same here Pit. My carbs are coming from mainly fruits ( wild berries) . I do have small amounts of pasta some times. I mix it with A bit of Pesto ( olive oil , garlic and herb ) .

Ross get some Ketostix , they will help and they're cheap.

I meant to get some at the store this morning. That would definitely help out. I might see if they have them at the campus pharmacy...

To give you an idea of how cheap stuff is there, I got a month supply of claritin, two weeks worth of sudafed, some robitusin, biaxin, and 14 packets of fiber for $9 on Monday.

It will be a week or so before I fall into ketosis, I guess...so no hurry. I really want to try them out though. It should help me to determine my refeed frequency.
