This sounds fairly brutal. During this time has your energy dropped drastically?

My energy levels during the day are fine until I start doing my workouts, then I have problems as I get tired easily. My back workouts are especially brutal, deadlifts being the worse. I have been getting around this by splitting up my back/shoulder day and doing each muscle group a few hours apart or taking long rests.

The further into the week I am, the harder the workout is so I am trying to move my workouts closer to my carbup days. At hrdgains suggestion I just bought some Citrulline Malate which I hope will help with energy levels pre workout.

yeah my energy is for shit right now too. and deadlifts are dam near impossible. I was very close to falling asleep on the leg press machine on tuesday.

but its all worth it, and my lifts are still strong so you gotta fight through it.

what isnt making you stronger is killing you.

Another week and another pound down. My scale is actually saying around 1.5 lbs, but I'll just say its closer to 1 because I don't trust the scale much.

This was a damn near impossible week for me. I have some serious stomach flu and I don't think the CKD is helping me because of all the fat I am consuming. I had to go to the doctors twice and give specimens to see what is causing my problem since I've had it for a week. She is pretty sure the CKD isn't causing it, but the large amounts of fat isn't helping my stomach in her opinion. Because of this my cardio was nearly non existent this week as I felt horrible when I tried to do it. Hopefully the doctor can figure out whats wrong with my stomach and give me some meds because this is starting to hurt my workouts.

I have found that my weight flucuates alot during the week going up and down, but by Wednesday it continually drops until my weigh in on Saturday. This is supposedly normal and since I'm comparing numbers on the same day each week I am not concerned about it.

I added in r-ala, Citrulline malate, and some BCAA's on friday so we will see how much this helps.

Until next week...

According to the scale I am another pound down since last week. I didn't weigh myself on Saturday as usual but instead did it on Sunday morning, but either way I am around the same weight.

I have been traveling for job interviews all week and haven't been able to get in the right mix of fats/protein so I have just been staying true to the diet and not taking in any carbs. I am sure this is the reason for the stall in weight loss. I decided to skip my carbup day this week because I will be traveling to Kansas City for 3 days on Monday and won't have access to the gym. Therefore I realize I would have a hard time trying to burn off all the carbs and I decided to skip the carbup. All I had on Saturday carb wise was splitting a few pitchers with some friends, not the best thing but it I would guess I kept my carbs around 50-80 yesterday instead of 630. Because I won't be able to exercise until halfway through the week I don't think skipping this carbup will affect me much. I could use a few days rest anyhow as I haven't had any in a few months.

Until next week....

Just got back from my travels and I did pretty well trying to avoid the carbs. Trust me, skipping ribs because of the sauce in Kansas City was no easy task. Anyhow, to get myself back on track I recalculated my target totals a little lower than they should be.

New Targets:
Day BMR Cal/day Fat Grams Protein Grams Carb Grams
1 2542 240 95 Less Than 20 Grams
2 2408 201 151 Less Than 20 Grams
3 2275 164 199 Less Than 20 Grams
4 2676 208 201 Less Than 20 Grams
5 2408 187 181 Less Than 20 Grams
6 2275 164 199 Less Than 20 Grams
(Carb Up) 7 3479 39 174 609

Okay, this was my first week of no weight loss at all. I didn't gain any weight however which makes it alright for me. I think the cause for this was that I was only really strict on my diet for three days when I got back from my trip, before that I wasn't getting in nearly enough fat while traveling.

A week off did me good in the gym however as I was able to rest and even add a few lbs to my lifts on bench and military press which I have been stuck at for a while. Other than that I have adapted to the diet pretty well now and don't crave carbs what so ever during the week.

Until next week...

Ok I lost another pound this week and am pretty happy with my overall weightloss to this point. I am down 11 lbs in six weeks which I consider a pretty healthy amount each week. My lifts have all increased slightly, but of course not as often as when I am not cutting.

I made a few changes this week including bumping my Sesathin up to 6ml a day instead of 3.75. I also bumped my R-Ala to 600 mg up from 300 mg.

Cardio was basically non existent except for long walks as I have been flooded with finals and projects these last weeks before graduation. I will probally won't be able to fit much cardio in until my finals are over in two weeks so I have been keeping my diet extremely clean to be safe.

Until next week....

Okay well as suspected my weight remained the same this week. With final projects and finals preparation I wasn't as focused on getting my cardio in and was celebrating at the bars a little to much. I am just happy I didn't add any weight to my totals.

This upcoming week is my finals week and graduation, so needless to say I see myself celebrating and not focusing on my diet as much. I will try to remain good before the weekend but don't really suspect that I will lose any weight.

After next weekend when I can get back to my schedule I will be busting my ass doing some cardio to catchup. I figure I only graduate once and am not going to prevent myself from having fun just cause I want to shed some lbs.
