what exactly is a depletion workout? I've seen the phrase tossed around but never knew what it means

Your muscles use glycogen (a form of sugar) as fuel. When you perform work your muscles use up that glycogen, this puts your muslces in a glycogen depleated state. Thats where the term depletion workout comes from.

Make a journal. I have a lot of experience with this diet as does Hrdgain. I'm sure if you start with him, it'll be easier to critique and give some ideas on how to survive through it.

UD2.0 is pretty brutal but damn effective...

my tip of the day: Get some metamucil (sugarfree). It's a great way to add substance to the diet without adding a lot of calories/carbs. Its all fiber so i don't even count it towards my nutrients for the day...

serving size is 1 tsp. i'd hit a 1TBSP after each "meal" (3x/day) really makes it easier to not be so hungry + you get to take a solid crap more than just while carbing up.

Thanks SDF, I'm glad your checkin in on my me man. I know you have some exsperience with this.

Let me ask you, how often did you do cardio, and what style and duration. I only did cardio on friday and sunday last week, and it wasnt for long. The rest of the week I felt dead as shit.

today's workout was shitty. I wasted way to much time between sets, a few buddies happened to be at the gym and I ended up flapping my gums too much. workout took an hour and fifteen minutes, last week it took roughly 55min.
