post surgery help I am a month out of radial head surgery on my left arm. my lifting has been basically reduced to nothing. does anyone have any ideas on excersises and lifts to do without killing my arm. thanks in advance guys. |
I think this is something you should definitely talk to a physical therapist about. You could do serious and permanent damage to yourself if you're not careful. IW |
Very little weight and very little reps. Basically, no very low intensity until you know you won't injure yourself by progressing forward. |
Just do cardio man. Take the time to do something most people slack on. You'll benefit from it more than you would anything else. If your surgery is going to put you out of lifting for any length of time your body will thank you for it and it will save you from gaining as much unwanted weight during your down time. You can also get in some great leg work.. Something people also slack on. |
yeah i have put off a lot of upper body and done more cardio. I just hate not putting plates on the bar. I am able to do lifts such as curls and such in that movement but still having problem doing lifts like tri movements. kinda shitty but its made my leg workouts that much better and i have started to run for fun. just get lost in old blues guitar. which has also made my playing better lol. thanks for the info guys. |
stick on rehab machines |
When I came back from wrist surgery I went straight into weights training which was something that I really regret because its still weak today, I STRONGLY recommend speaking to a physical therapist or biokineticist. |
You should talk to a physical therapist or any expert about it. If u do not take any care then it will harmful for you. |
body building is the best part of any ones life. |
