That is an amazing post, EXTREMELY helpful

It took me over an hour last night to weed through every single one and hyperlink it. A lot of other forums have most of this as well, but 30% of their links don't work. It'll continue to grow over time. :)

Hey 0311 the Excel spreadsheet for the Koan Deadlift Routine doesn't seem to be available but here is a calulator that people could use to quickly figure out the program:

Thought you might be interested in adding it to the main post.

Also I don't know if this may be worth adding to the Articles Archives section of your post

Good stuff! The deadlift routine looks killer!

EricT 10-17-2006 09:56 AM

Yeah. I mispelled Coan as Koan. LOL, I'd like to do it but I've decided that as well as I'm doing with deadlift my lower back couldn't actually handle a specialized routine. As it is I'm kinda riding the limit.

The fun part would be to figure out how to work it into a routine. Maybe it could always represent an Max Effort Lower day each week, and your DE/RE Lower day could be for squatting? :biglaugh:

EricT 10-17-2006 05:44 PM

Yeah I was wondering about that! That program has ME, DE, RE all at the same time it looks like.
